The new INSIXTMC100SC-S is a small-format factor, low-power media converter for single 9/125 or 10/10125micron fibre with an approximate range of 25Km, allowing extended fast ethernet applications, building to building communications and of course broadcast/ AV applications with zero effect with regards to external RF and earthing potentials, which can cause havoc with conventional copper-based cabling.
Using a standard SC duplex fibre connector, the INSIXTMC100SC-S features hot-swap support, IEEE802.1Q and SPANNING TREE support for better fault tolerance and looping control.
Extended reliability thanks to enhanced SMT technology and of course status LEDs for network and connection status via its standard STP RJ-45 connector
